Brass Buddha Bhumisparsa Mudra for Home Decorative (Buddha Bhumisparsa Mudra)

The historical Buddha displayed the Bhumisparsha “earth touching” mudra to summon the earth goddess to witness the vanquishment of the demon Mara. Additionally, the Buddha displayed the mudra while seated in full lotus position under the Bodhi tree. 1) The Buddha’s right hand is stretched over the right knee with the palm facing inwards and the middle finger is lightly touching the ground. 2) The Dhyana “meditation” mudra is performed with the left hand. Also, the Buddha usually has an alms bowl resting in the palm of the left hand, but not always.
